The scope of this ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification encompasses the protection of Sharper Shape data and customer data from unauthorized disclosure. The Information Security Management System (ISMS) is centrally managed by Sharper Shape’s headquarters.
The in-scope applications, systems, people, and processes are globally implemented and operated by teams across all Sharper Shape facilities. These encompass the development operations, information technology operations, and human resources functions of the company. The ISMS scope includes all related systems and products that support Sharper Shape customers.
The specific services, locations, and supporting resources included within this scope are defined in the Statement of Applicability (SOA) and are detailed in the following section of this certificate.
The ISO/IEC 27001 certification was conducted by leading compliance assessor A-LIGN, a technology-enabled security and compliance partner trusted by more than 4,000 global organizations to help mitigate cybersecurity risks. A-LIGN is an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to perform ISMS certifications.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an information security management system standard published in October 2022 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
