This privacy policy page describes the personal data collected or processed when you interact with Sharper Shape, Inc. (referred to as “Sharper Shape”, “our”, “we” or “us” in this privacy policy), through our mobile apps, or one of our other products or services, all of which are part of our CORE Platform (“Platform”). It also explains how your personal data is used, shared, and protected, what choices you have relating to your personal data, and how you can contact us.

Information We Collect
When you engage with Sharper Shape via various channels, including our apps, and customer support, we collect and process your personal data. When you use our apps, we will automatically receive information including both personal and technical data, such as:

We will use your personal data to give you service. In this context, we will use your personal data to manage your questions, handle complaints, and provide technical support. For instance, we will receive userID, CompanyID, and IP address when there is a crash so we can address it properly. Collection and use of non-personal information
Non-personal information is data that doesn’t allow us or cannot be used to identify a specific individual uniquely. We may collect, use, transfer, store this information in the way we consider the best to provide you with the services we advertised. We keep logs of various data for statistical purposes. This data includes your IP address, date and time stamps, and operating systems. For this purpose, we use Apple’s built-in data analytics software to keep track of useful information about our users. Retention of your personal data

We keep your information for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is collected, and hence the length of time for which we retain information varies. Relevant personal information will be deleted after the expiry of the below-mentioned periods unless such data legitimately can be kept and processed for other processing purposes, which we have a legal basis for.
Personal User Information: Your personal data will be stored for a period of 30 days from the date you last have been active in using any of our apps.
Device Information: Personal data related to your use of our apps and product software update(s) is kept and processed for a period of 30 days from the date you last have been active in using any of our apps.
Usage Information: Personal data related to your use of our apps and product software update(s) is kept and processed for a period of 30 days from the date you last have been active in using any of our apps.
Where we store and process your personal data
As a general principle, your personal data is stored and processed within the *European Economic Area* (EEA). However, your personal data may be transferred outside EEA between the entities in Sharper Shape, between Sharper Shape and our authorized companies, and certain types of third parties, as specified in the following section “Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data to Third Parties.”
In case of transfer of your personal data to any third country, as defined in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), valid laws and regulations concerning such transfers are observed and relevant legal and security safeguards are ensured before such transfer by transferring to countries approved by the EU Commission as having an adequate level of protection, or by entering into an appropriately-drafted contract between Sharper Shape and the non-EEA entity receiving the data.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal, non-personal information to other parties. This information does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our services, conducting our business, or servicing you as long as these parties agree to keep your information confidential and share our values in protecting your privacy. We work with other companies who provide services to us like hosting our website, offering our help desk software, analyzing our website traffic, hosting our cloud services, and other business-related services. All our contractors are highly trusted, professionals who provide us with industry-standard systems and processes and have a very respectable reputation.
As a general principle, we collect and process data in order to facilitate or improve our products, services, and customer experience. We do not share the said data with third parties, except to the extent stated in this privacy policy. However, we may disclose your personal data to third parties to the extent required by law, court order, or a decision rendered by a competent public authority and for the purpose of law enforcement.

Your Rights, Access to, and Control of the Information
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you. If you want to exercise your rights, you must contact us. Please note that prior to accessing and making changes to your account, we will need to verify your identity properly. Your verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal data or an authorized representative. It should also describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
To exercise your right to know about, access, or delete personal data, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by emailing us at privacymanager@sharpershape.com.
Response Timing and Format:
We will confirm receipt of a request within 10 days and provide information about how we will process the request. We attempt to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 30 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Any disclosure we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal data that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the data from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time on a going-forward basis. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page.
